MSAM Projects Featured in the Office of the UW President

In January 2025, the Office of the President at the University of Waterloo is showcasing our work at the Multi-Scale Additive Manufacturing (MSAM) Lab. The display features award-winning rocket components developed for the Waterloo Rocketry team, innovative 3D-printed heat sinks, and customized 3D-printed medals for graduating students and alumni. It also highlights our efforts during the pandemic, when we produced and donated 2,000 face shields to healthcare workers.

The Office of the President’s display case highlights the research and innovation of university faculty and researchers, with a new focus each month to showcase the impactful work being done on campus.
