All additive manufacturing technologies require some level of post processing post printing to remove supports, improve surface quality and improve tolerances. Although there are methods available, this research area looks at ways to improve and reduce the man-hours required to achieve the final product.

In addition the team is looking at Hybrid AM solutions that include ideas such as CNC machining between layers, injecting of different materials during building, etc.
