MSAM’s Prof. Ehsan Toyserkani Honored with ASTM International Award of Excellence in Education

At the ASTM International Conference on Advanced Manufacturing (ICAM 2025), Dr. Ehsan Toyserkani, Director of the Multi-Scale Additive Manufacturing (MSAM), was recognized with the Award of Excellence in Education for his leadership in advancing additive manufacturing (AM) education and mentoring the next generation of innovators.

The ASTM International Awards of Excellence honor leaders across research, education, standardization, and industrialization. This year’s other recipients included:

• Paul Gradl (NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center) – Industrialization
• Dr. Andrey Molotnikov (RMIT University) – Research
• John Schmelzle (Naval Air Systems Command) – Standardization
